Ballet company formed in London in 1940 by two dancers, Czeslow Konarski and Alicja Halama. In 1941 Jan Cobel became director and it gave a very successful tour of England, performing subsequent seasons in London until 1947. It also performed for the troops in Italy and India during the war. Gilmour, Kersley, and Rassine were among its dancers.
