Group of six or ten objects said to be especially worthy of contemplation. Through meditating on these things the three roots of evil (akuśala-mūla) can be destroyed. The list of ten is: (1) the Buddha, (2) the Dharma, (3) the Saṃgha, (4) morality (śīla), (5) generosity (dāna), (6) the gods (deva), (7) death, (8) the body, (9) the breath, and (10) peace.
