An asteroid whose orbit lies entirely within that of the Earth (an aphelion of 0.983 astronomical units or less). The first proposed member of the group was 1998 DK36, but its orbit is poorly determined. The first confirmed apohele was 2003 CP20, now known as (163693) Atira, aphelion 0.98 AU, and the second was 2004 JG6, aphelion 0.97 AU.
