Italian dancer, choreographer, and ballet master. He studied at Rome Opera Ballet School and graduated into the company, where he became premier danseur, performing lead roles in works by Milloss. He then danced with La Scala (1946–50) though between 1949 and 1950 he toured in the musical Carosello napoletano, choreographed by himself. After 1950 he worked as a freelance choreographer, for example recreating the Ballet of the Nuns from Meyerbeer's Robert le diable (Palermo, 1966) and Manzotti's Excelsior (Florence, 1967).
