British designer and reconstructor of dance design. He trained in art history at the universities of Antioch and Essex and with his partner M. Hodson he has been responsible for researching and reconstructing many early 20th-century ballets including Nijinsky's Rite of Spring (staged 1987) and Jeux (staged 1996), Börlin's Skating Rink (staged 1996), and Balanchine's Cotillon (staged 1988). His books include Roerich East and West (Bournemouth, 2000).
