Two synods to which the Emp. Constantius summoned the bishops of the East and West respectively in 359 to deal with the Arian dispute. Although the majority at Ariminum (Rimini) were orthodox, under imperial pressure they subscribed to an Arianizing Creed. This was also accepted at Seleucia.
