A simple warm-up exercise for the upper body, particularly the arms, shoulders, and chest muscles.

▪ Stand upright with a straight back. Cross the palm of one hand across the back of the other. With the palms facing forwards, slowly stretch your arms upwards as high as possible and slightly backwards, breathing in as you do so. Hold the fully extended position for about 10 seconds, then return to the starting position.
