Red‐coloured pottery with a glossy surface produced between the 1st century bc and the mid 1st century ad at Arretium (modern Arezzo) in Tuscany, Italy. The forms of the vessels are copies of metal prototypes; some are highly decorated. This ware was traded throughout the Roman Empire of the time, and sometimes beyond.
