An exercise which stretches and improves the flexibility of the lower back, hamstrings, and buttock muscles. This exercise should not be performed by those with back problems.

▪ Stand upright with your knees bent. Gently bend down and grasp your ankles, pulling down a little until you feel the stretch. Hold for about five seconds, relax, and slowly return to the starting position, then repeat.
