A test to determine the flexibility of your back. It has also been used as a therapeutic exercise for patients with lower back pain.▪ Lie on the floor on your stomach. Place your palms face down on the floor, either side of your head. While keeping your pelvis in contact with the ground, use your arms to raise your head and chest as high as you can without discomfort. Get a partner to measure the distance from the floor to your suprasternal notch (the notch at the top of the chest bone).Rating: >30 cm, excellent; 20–29 cm, good; 10–19 cm, fair; <9 cm, poor.
