Quick Reference

A king of Ulster with a fortress at Knocklayd south of Ballycastle, Northern Ireland, who reigned from 572 to 581. Although his career has been obscured by synthetic historians, he does appear to have extended the suzerainty of Dál Riada to Scotland and the Isle of Man.
