A game played in school settings designed to cultivate skills that later can be further developed in netball and basketball. It is a simple team game used by sport and physical education teachers with young children, as a way of introducing core skills of ball handling and spatial awareness in an unthreatening way. Two teams have exactly five passes to get the ball back to their own goalkeeper who is standing on a bench in their own half of the playing area. Physical education teachers have reported successful adaptations of this basic format, and it has clear developmental value for the learning of teamwork and effective positional awareness.
