Bench blasts, sometimes called Whitney Bench Blasts, are exercises which develop leg power.

▪ Stand upright, place your right foot on a bench and your left foot on the floor, then blast (jump) upwards. Switch your feet in mid air so that when you complete the blast your right foot is on the floor and your left foot is on the bench. Continue the blasts, alternating the position of the feet.
