A weight training exercise for the chest, shoulder and arm extensors (figure 12).

▪ Lie on a bench so that your head and upper shoulders are supported. Reach back to grasp a bar (or dumbbells) placed on the floor close to the bench. With your hands fairly close together, lift the weight over your head and slowly lower it onto your chest. During the lift, your elbows should be tucked in.
