Quick Reference

A term coined by Rudolf von Laban for his mass-movement choirs. He used them in such works as The Rocking Temple (1922), Light Turn (1923), Agamemnon's Death (1924), Dusky Rhythms (1925), and Titan (1927). For a time the use of Bewegungschor became popular in the German theatre, especially in opera productions.
