Show Summary Details

Quick Reference

The huge expansion of the Internet has meant that a large number of illegal schemes have been instigated by criminals. Bogus marketing schemes involve a user of the Internet helping to market some product which, its inventor claims, will make large amounts of money. In order to participate in such a scheme the user has to pay a fee to establish themselves as a distributor or a local agent. Once the money has been paid the criminal disappears or provides samples of the product which fall very far short of the claims made.
