Danish dancer. She studied at the Royal Danish Ballet School from 1984 and joined the company in 1992 as an apprentice, becoming soloist in 2000 and solo dancer (principal) in 2001. A pure Bournonville stylist with an intuitive dramatic gift she dances most of the 19th-century ballerina roles (Petipa and Bournonville) as well as the modern repertory of Forsythe, Ratmansky, Kylián, and others. She has toured widely with RDB and appeared as a guest with several companies, including Finnish National Ballet.
