(1759–1843).

English architect and surveyor, closely associated with The Drapers' Company. For the Lloyd-Baker Estate in Clerkenwell, London, he designed the layout of Lloyd Square, Lloyd-Baker Street, and Wharton Street, remarkably inventive pairs and terraces (c. 1819–40) which clearly influenced Jeremy Dixon in some of his designs for London houses. He remodelled the Church of St George, Queen Square, London (1817–18).
