Quick Reference

A test that estimates the anaerobic power generated during a jump. Using an instrumented landing pad, the exact time spent in the air is measured during a series of repeated maximum jumps, standardized with respect to the amount of knee and hip flexion. The average power generated (W) is calculated from the test duration (Ts from 15 to 60 s), the number of jumps (n) total flight time (Ft ), so that; W = (FtTsg2)/4n (TsFt), where g is the acceleration due to gravity.
