Show Summary Details

Quick Reference

A town in South Africa, in North-West Province, where a skull fossil was found in 1913. The fossil is undated and morphologically shows no primitive features. At the time this find was regarded as representative of a distinct ‘Boskop race’ but is now thought to be related to the San–Nama (Bushman–Hottentot) types.
