(?1756–1832), clergyman and translator. Born in Dromore, Co. Antrim, and educated at TCD, he published a translation of Ariosto's Orlando Furioso (1785) and of The Divina Commedia of Dante (3 vols., 1802). The Triumph of Petrarch (1807) is another verse translation.
