US astronaut. He flew on the longest space shuttle mission, logging more than 405 hours on Columbia from 20 June to 7 July 1996 with the Microgravity Science Laboratory. The seven-member crew included nationals from France, Canada, Italy, and Spain. Brady was selected as an astronaut in 1992.
