A bond issued in conjunction with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (World Bank) to help refinance less developed countries. US Treasury zero-coupon bonds were used as collateral. The so-called Brady plan was introduced in 1989 by US Treasury Secretary Nicholas Brady.
