1. A-kinase anchor protein 13 (breast cancer nuclear receptor-binding auxiliary protein, lymphoid blast crisis oncogene, 2813 aa), one of the Dbl family that increases oestrogen receptor activity. It anchors cAMP-dependent protein kinase (PKA, A-kinase) and acts as an adaptor protein to couple Gα-13 and rho for which it is a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF).
2. Cysteine-rich hydrophobic domain 1 protein (CHIC1, brain X-linked protein, BRX, 224 aa), a palmitoylated membrane protein preferentially expressed in brain and possibly mutated in an X-linked mental retardation syndrome.
