Quick Reference

After apprenticeship with Richard Harrison and employment with R. Wolfe, Bynneman ran one of the largest printing offfices in London. With the patronage of Archbishop M. Parker and Sir Christopher Hatton, he acquired lucrative patents and published titles such as Holinshed's Chronicles (1577), but his projects exceeded his means, and he died in debt.
