Quick Reference

A nuclear calcineurin-binding protein (calcineurin-binding protein 1, 2200 aa) with a regulatory role in the T-cell-receptor signalling pathway. It binds MEF2B, and probably all the MEF family of transcription factors. If intracellular calcium levels rise, activated calmodulin will displace the MEFs, allowing them to act.
