[Ir., melody; songbird; bough, branch].
Also known as Cébha. In Fenian ballads Cainche is the daughter of Fionn mac Cumhaill. She mates with the enemy Goll mac Morna to produce Feadha, who is killed by Fionn. Goll cites this murder as the reason for his final break with Fionn. Her name is anglicized as Keeva (or Keva) of the White Skin.
