German jurist, best known for his legal dictionary, Lexicon iuridicum iuris Caesarei simul et canonici (Frankfurt, 1600). He also wrote on Jewish law (Themis Hebraeo-Romana, 1595), Roman jurisprudence (Iurisprudentiae Romanae synopsis methodica, 1595), and feudal law (Iurisprudentiae feudalis, 1611).
