Welsh Arthurian figure, a son attributed to Llŷr. In Chrétien de Troyes he became Karadues Breibraz and in Breton, Karadoc Brech Bras, Vreichvras [armstrong]. Known to be an eloquent and bold speaker, he is also virtuous and proud. Although unquestionably of Welsh origin, he appears more often in French legends and romances. Husband of Tegau Eurfron, the paragon of virtue.
