A society housed at 114 Mount Street, London W1K 3AH, which was founded in 1905 to publish historical records concerning Roman Catholicism in Britain, including registers of baptisms, burials, and marriages from the later 18th century, Recusant Rolls (1592–1691) kept at The National Archives, monographs, etc. Recusant History (from 1951) is the historical journal of the Society.
