centre line relationship

Quick Reference

The association between the midline of the face and a vertical line drawn between the upper central incisors and the lower central incisors. A discrepancy between the upper and lower dental centre lines is measured in millimetres or as a proportion of the lower incisor width (e.g. ¼, ½, ¾, or full tooth). The relationship between the dental centre line and the midline of the face can be co-incident, where the two centre lines line up, or deviated, where there is a displacement either left or right.
