The point at which the resultant of lift and drag acts on a body immersed in a fluid. For a projectile, the centre of pressure changes with the angle of attack. If the centre of pressure is in front of the centre of gravity, the projectile experiences a torque. known as the pitching moment, that rotates the leading edge upwards. resulting in a stall (see stall angle).
