Quick Reference

A centriolar protein (110-kDa centrosomal protein, CEP110, 2325 aa) that is involved in cell cycle progression and cytokinesis. During the late steps of cytokinesis, it anchors exocyst and SNARE complexes at the midbody. A chromosomal translocation that allows the formation of a fusion protein of CEP110 and the fibroblast growth factor receptor-1 may be a cause of stem cell myeloproliferative disorder.
