The pressure of hot gas within a rocket's combustion chamber. Pressure within a large solid rocket booster is monitored by four main combustion chamber pressure sensors. If an engine loses its chamber pressure, its valves remain at the last commanded position to keep the same mixture ratio. When the space shuttle's two boosters separate, the chamber pressure of each is 3.5 kg per sq cm or less to ensure they are not still burning.
