An independent body established under the Charities Act 2006 to hear appeals against decisions of the Charity Commission, to hear applications for review of decisions of the Charity Commission, and to consider references from the Attorney General or the Charity Commission on points of law. The Charity Tribunal only has jurisdiction in respect of Charity Commission decisions made on or after 18 March 2008.
