A yoga teacher and writer. Born Chinmoy Kumar Ghose, as a 12 year old, Chinmoy entered the Aurobindo āśram near Pondicherry. In 1964 he left India for the USA, where he established meditation centres based on guru bhakti, including one at the United Nations.
