An antinomian Tamil poet, classified as a Cittar (siddha), who opposed the authority of the Vedas and the Brahmanical religion associated with it, as well as Hindu sectarianism and temple worship. His name is derived from his collection of poems Civavākkiyam (‘Śiva's Utterance’).
