1 An order under s 179A of the Licensing Act 1964 (s 161, Licensing Act 2003) made by a police officer of at least the rank of inspector ordering the immediate closure of licensed premises where there is disorder or there is likely to be disorder on or in the vicinity of and related to the licensed premises. In regard to non‐licensed premises where intoxicating liquor is being illegally sold, the police can apply to magistrates for a closure order.

2 An order under s 2 of the Anti‐Social Behaviour Act 2003 made by magistrates ordering the closure of premises that have been used in connection with the unlawful use, production or supply of a Class A controlled drug and the premises are associated with the occurrence of disorder or serious nuisance.

3 An order under s 40 of the Anti‐Social Behaviour Act 2003 made by the chief executive of a local authority ordering the closure of specified licensed premises during a specified period.
