A prominent hill (699 feet) in north Co. Tipperary, 2 miles E of Ballingarry. In folklore the hill is thought to be sacred to Úna, a queen of the fairies. Known in English as Knockshegouna or Knockshigowna, the hill was once the site of Lughnasa activities.
