collaborative provision

Quick Reference

Programmes of study which are run jointly by more than one institution, as is the case, for example, when two or more schools pool their sixth form teaching in order to offer pupils a wider choice of options; or as might also be the case where one institution teaches and assesses a programme of study validated by another. This latter example might apply where a college or an overseas institution offers a course which is validated, verified, and partly taught by a university.
