A reduced calorie diet high in carbohydrates, low in fats, and moderately high in fibre and protein. The plan was devised by Dr Janet McBarron-Liberatore and combines dieting with exercise. Dr McBarron-Liberatore advocates vigorous walking for at least 30–45 minutes per day, six days a week. Although the recipes do not give the values of carbohydrate, fat, and protein, the diet appears to be nutritionally sound and in line with most dietary recommendations.
