A form for administering Communion, drawn up in English, and originally interpolated into the Latin Mass between the Communion of the priest and that of the people. Its essential parts were an exhortation, a brief address to the intending communicants, the General Confession and Absolution, the Comfortable Words, the Prayer of Humble Access, the Words of Administration (for both kinds), and the Blessing. Its contents passed into the BCP.
