Quick Reference

A poly-acid modified resin composite which has an ion-leachable glass filler and monomers which will polymerize to create a matrix onto which some acidic side chains are grafted. They may be used as an alternative to resin composites for the restoration of the primary dentition since they have the advantage of fluoride release. They require an adhesive agent to create a retentive micromechanical bond to tooth structure.
