A rocket developed for NASA's Commercial Experiment Transporter (COMET) programme that supported the microgravity industry. The Conestoga had a main engine with additional ones strapped around it. The first and only launch of the COMET spacecraft was in October 1995 but the Conestoga broke into pieces 16 seconds after lift-off. The rocket and programme were cancelled.
