Quick Reference

In regression analysis, a measure of the influence of a particular case on the overall results. A large value of Cook's D indicates that exclusion of the case would cause the regression coefficients to change substantially. [Named after the US statistician R. Dennis Cook (born 1944), who published the statistic in the journal Technometrics in 1977]
