Cooper 12-minute test

A test of aerobic endurance in which the total distance a subject runs in 12 min is recorded. Its is a maximal test, that is, the subject must run to exhaustion for the results to be reliable. A variation of the test is based on the time taken for a subject to run 1.5 miles (about 2.4 km).
