A small cylindrical muscle that crosses the shoulder joint. The coracobrachialis has its origin on the coracoid process and its insertion on the inner surface of the humerus. It contributes to adduction, horizontal adduction, and flexion of the humerus, enabling the arm to swing forwards, and it is a synergist of the pectoralis minor.
