A person appointed by the Lord Chancellor and designated as a court security officer. Such an officer may search any person wishing to enter a court building and restrain, remove, and exclude any person for the purpose of maintaining order, enabling court business to be carried on without interference or delay, or securing the safety of any person in the court building. He may also remove any person from a court room at the request of a judge or justice of the peace.
