A scribe who worked mainly for lawyers but also for theatre companies. Some of his scribal characteristics, particularly the ‘massing’ of entries (i.e. the listing at the head of a scene of all the characters who appear in it) are found in certain plays of the First Folio, which he appears to have helped to prepare for the press.
