Obscure Cornish saint who founded the church of Sancreed. According to Roscarrock, he ‘Killed by misfortune his owne father, with which he was so moved as abandoning the world he became a hogherd, and lived so exemplary as he was after esteemed a saint’. There is also a trace of a Credan in Co. Moyne and Wicklow in Ireland with feast on 11 May.
